Centennial transformation may get financing soon, too

The only thing more complicated than the stack of uses planned for Millennia Companies’
reactivation of the 1.45-million-square-foot former Union Trust Building in the heart of
Downtown Cleveland is its proposed financing. That involves a capital stack of numerous
public and private financial sources and both have adjusted over the last few years

It appears that Millennia Companies is doing more than assembling financing to redeem a foreclosed loan on 925 Euclid Ave. and remove the Downtown Cleveland property from a court-ordered receivership. It also appears that it is also seeking to close on financing to undertake a redevelopment of the property per its city-approved plans.

more than just a hotel. It also has four floors of offices which are gaining a new tenant. This

Five years ago, Rocket Mortgage looked to be growing into a major presence in Downtown Cleveland’s office market. The company was growing so fast here it seemed plausible that it might even anchor a new tower for local offices of Rock Ventures’ companies, such as the one Bedrock proposed in its riverfront development.

Cosm tops out in Gateway District

On Friday, Cosm celebrated the structural completion of a new 100-foot, 12k-resolution LED dome in Downtown Cleveland’s Gateway District. The “shared-reality” entertainment venue, developed by Bedrock, will stream sports games and events for live audiences.

Sherwin-Williams pursues HQ2

In the weeks preceding Sherwin-Williams’ ceremonial ribbon cutting May 11 for its new 36-story headquarters tower in Downtown Cleveland, the company’s executives took notice. They could see how employees were filling out its new HQ campus and, in suburban Brecksville, its new Morikis Global Technology Center.

Approved today by City Planning Commission, the Shaker Square Vision Plan follows a series of upgrades and store openings helping to revitalize the square.
